Hi all, For those who have traveled to New Orleans (and even those who haven’t), do you ever wonder what movies portray the city accurately and those that don’t? For my listing, check out the guest blog today, where I list some of my faves and dislikes. The nice Casey Ryan from Twitter is hosting my article: Read guest blog here.
Hope everyone has a safe and wonderful Easter weekend :))))
This has been a productive and great weekend for me. I’ve been on a #writing retreat, the kind where you hole up with other writers and you crash-write all weekend long. Of course, there are breaks in the evening, etc., but otherwise, the focus is WRITING.
Happy to report that I did 10,160 words = that’s approximately 40 pages, in one weekend. This is a great way to jump start that creativity or tackle that mid-book-slump hurdle.
Hope everyone has a great weekend and look for more posts soon!
Yay :)
This weekend, I will be offline most of the time. I’m on a #writing retreat! Decided to come up to the woodsy area and write :) Going well so far – lots of brainstorming and lots of words.
Writing can be like a slow trickle at times, but the reason writing retreats work well is that it’s forcing the faucet to gush in a limited period of time. Occasionally, crunch time is a good thing!
Happy weekend and happy Easter, all!
I love how Indie artists help each other and spread the word about different works of art. After all, art is our passion. It’s what breathes life into our lives. Many thanks to Christine Bode, marketing gal extraordinaire, for letting me guest blog today! Read the post here. What about all of you? What is something you long to share with someone, spread the word about?
Happy to see that this morning, WATER’S BLOOD is the Book of the Day! Yay!
Remember you can still read the free prequel DROPLET here.
In other news, it is COLD (I mean, really freaking COLD!) in the South. Crazy weather. We still have the heat turned up and it is late March. Weird!
Hope everyone has a great week and Easter week :)
